Student assistant (HiWi) working on LLMs and Knowledge Graphs for Biodiversity Data

We are looking for a student assistant for a project that involves simplifying knowledge graph query via LLMs for knowledge graphs in the ecology/biodiversity domain.

Queried knowledge graphs include plant trait & occurrence, as well as plant- & (bio)chemistry data. Interest in the biodiversity research domain is appreciated, as semantic knowledge and modelling might be required.

Prior knowledge of semantic web technologies (RDF/OWL based ontologies and knowledge graphs), LLMs, NLP, databases (SQL), or dataset creation & system evaluation is appreciated (at least 1 is required).
